In the late 1980’s, Alan Bradford started working at Hypertherm in the technical services department. Alan traveled around the country to train and support Hypertherm clients, and help their machines run more efficiently. In 1993 Alan started Plasma Technologies (aka. Plasma Tech) to service the Plasma and Flame (Oxy-Fuel) cutting industry. Machinery repair and rebuilding was done mostly on site for retrofits. Over the years more services were added, such as complete machine rebuilding and overhauling (CNC Retrofits.)
