Steven Dana is a 21-year veteran of the Close Protection industry. At various times in his career he has been responsible for planning and participating in moderate to high threat Protective Service Details (PSD), and more recently, focuses almost exclusively upon providing high threat PSD for domestic violence, and various abuse victims where the risk of lethality is deemed high.

In 1999, Mr. Dana founded ARGUS Management, Inc., a boutique firm specializing in executive protection, casualty claims investigations, pre-trial preparation, and surveillance. In 2015, Mr. Dana founded PROTECTION FROM ABUSE Security Services, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation providing free protective services to victims of abuse nationally. Mr. Dana is a graduate of Executive Protection Agent Training from Joseph A. LaSorsa (retired Secret Service, White House), the accredited Dignitary / Executive Protection Training program from Independent Security Advisors (ISA), and Protective / Evasive Driving Training from the Vehicle Dynamics Institute. He received a Danger Assessment Certification from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, and is certified to use the Danger Assessment and Levels of Danger Scoring System to evaluate domestic violence cases. Mr. Dana is a member of International Security Driver Association (ISDA), and the International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO).

His community service includes an Advisory Board role for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA, Philadelphia), and Board of Directors membership for Best Athletic Association, a Philadelphia, PA based charity promoting amateur athletics and mentorship to local youth. Mr. Dana also serves as a Security Consultant to Cornerstone Community Church in Millville, NJ.
