R. FREDERICK RIDDLE is the author of five novels, including Refuge: The Genesis Chronicles, Adam's Chronicles, the series The World That Was which includes Perished: The World That Was, and The Rise of Shem. He has also written a novel set in America’s War of 1812. He maintains a weekly blog (So You Want To Write?) where he comments about writing and marketing issues. He is the editor of Writers World, a free subscription newsletter. His books have consistently received high reviews. Having served as a teacher of the Bible (Sunday School and Master's Clubs) he knows how to take facts and weave a good story around them. He and his wife reside in Port Charlotte, Florida.

He began his career as an author in 2003 with the publication of his first novel, Refuge: The Genesis Chronicles. Since then he not only has been an author, but has been thoroughly engaged in learning the ins and outs of website design. He is the sole designer of T&R’s current website.

In 2014 he and his wife (Tress) founded T&R Independent Books. He brought his own experience with running an online bookstore into the mix. Initially they incorporated the existing store (formerly R. Frederick Riddle Bookstore). However, since then he has decided to focus virtually all marketing toward Amazon.com. Now an Amazon Affiliate, he plans on marketing a few select authors from the company’s website.

Currently working on book three and four of the World That Was series, Mr. Riddle is also exploring the concept of writing more stories based on American history.
