Ryan Thomson
Ryan felt moved to get involved in the green sector and so he sought out a local opportunity to make a difference globally joining Redfish’s Green Tech division. Ryan’s background is in residential electronic systems where he was project and operations manager, overseeing whole-home automation from lighting and HVAC control to fully custom personal theaters. Ryan currently serves as Vice Chair of the Consumer Electronics Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) Content Volunteer Action Team overseeing the development and maintenance of the Project Management curriculum. Ryan played varsity hockey and studied biology & chemistry back east, getting his pre-med BS from New England College.

Ryan became acquainted with the Intermountain West working a summer at the Mountain Adventure Tours outdoor camp for kids in the Sawtooth Mountains as a guide and counselor. Once he got involved in with the Sun Valley Suns Hockey team, he was hooked. Ryan is a Sun Valley paid volunteer firefighter, an avid hockey player, golfer, and outdoorsman. For the last 8 years, when he is not out playing in the mountains, stopping pucks, or busy working, he gives his time as a local emergency responder.
