VP, Client Services

Services

Virginia has more than two decades of marketing agency experience, working with healthcare and retail alike.
What’s your main focus at RMI?
Simply stated, my goal as VP of Client Services is to grow the business and ensure we deliver high quality services to our clients.

What brought you to RMI?
My plan early on was to be a veterinarian. I realized that most people didn’t care for animals to the degree that I do, even their owners. So, while I was working for a veterinarian’s office, I also had a job working for a newspaper.

The paper gave me an opportunity to do some interesting journalism work, and I followed that route for many years, working for all of the big media companies including the New York Times and eventually the AJC here in Atlanta.

By the end of my tenure with AJC, I’d moved into working directly with marketing and that’s where I realized I’d been missing out. Fast forward through several more years working in smaller startups then bigger agencies like Brown Bag where I ran operations and account management — I met with some recruiters who put me in touch with Ken who was then looking to hire a VP of Client Services — so, here I am!

What do you think makes RMI a great company?
We are growing business leaders. The focus on ensuring that the staff are not only experts in their functional areas but that they are well-informed business people who understand how our clients’ generate revenue so that we can positively impact profitability— that is what makes this company great.

How do you enjoy spending your time outside of work?
I have lots of hobbies — two of which are wine and fitness training. My goal is to complete a full marathon. I’d done plenty of half marathons, and I’ve started training again. We’ll see if I can complete a marathon this year! When it comes to wines, I enjoy trying to figure out flavor profiles and tasting notes. Also, I love hanging out with my husband and my kids. Both our kids play soccer, so we’re a big soccer family.
