Temperance Lance-Council is a rare breed indeed, as she has an abundance of talent, intelligence and sultry good looks. She’s appeared as a political commentator on CNN and Fox News, and The National Enquirer has referred to her as a “knockout beauty.” Prior to all of that, the former artists' model, cheerleader, prom and pageant queen, was fed a diet of politics by her mother as she listened to election returns on the radio. It was her mother who taught her to spell Czechoslovakia before she even entered first grade. Back then, she found that she enjoyed watching the televised Watergate Hearings and enjoyed reciting the names of the scandal’s major players. It’s not surprising that she’s a perennial presidential candidate, and has been since the Florida, chad-hanging, Gore v. Bush election, where The New York Times featured her. Her atypical career has included stints at Warner Bros., The Los Angeles Daily News and USA Today. Additionally, she’s been featured in The Los Angeles Times and the renowned, political news site, POLITICO. She’s racked up a few acting, radio and various other TV credits. People Magazine’s “Your Real Beauty at Every Age’s” website on PEOPLE.com has also featured her.

As a journalism student at a Virginia university, she interviewed the state’s first African-American governor, Douglas Wilder, which solidified her desire to run for public office, as well as her call to activism. Her activist spirit was on full display when she ran the Los Angeles Marathon in a loin-cloth to protest South-African Apartheid. It was then that she and several other activist friends formed The Average Citizens Civic-Minded Coalition, which supports women’s shelters.

On par with actress Ashley Judd’s philosophy on childbearing, Lance-Council, the sociopolitical television commentator, actress, activist, singer, humorist, author, and fringe politician, says she’s always wanted a rainbow coalition like Josephine Baker.

An avid dog lover, she’s shared the prerequisite TV kiss with another animal lover, Bob Barker. The same week she arrived in Los Angeles, she appeared on The Price Is Right. Although she didn’t make a love connection when she guested back then on The Love Connection, the long-term divorcée, who constantly asks friends to fix her up, hopes to remarry, finish law school, live in a castle, and one day take Diane Feinstein’s California Senate seat.
