Sandra Bivens Smith has authored numerous devotions, articles, and works of poetry. In 2004 Sandra led her first bible study group. Six years and dozens of studies later, her passion to share God’s word with other women continues to grow.

In 2006, Sandra, along with daughters Mikki and Amy Jo, recognized that in spite of the many wonderful organizations that minster to women, discipleship and mentoring was very much lacking. To help address this need, they founded Heart2Heart Ministry. Over the years, the ministry has brought God’s word to hundreds of women.

Sandra is originally from Lexington, North Carolina. For the last fifteen years she and her husband Avon have made their home in Charlotte. Together they have four children, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
