Kelly Ann King-Taylor has been an independent floor broker on the agricultural trading floor of the Chicago Board of Trade since 1997. She has held positions on both the Membership and Conduct Committees serving the exchange. Before obtaining her membership to become a broker, beginning in 1988 she held numerous clerical positions for other brokers and traders, as well as a retail firm which gave her exposure to both the customer and execution sides of the business.
Mrs. King-Taylor also owned and operated a small recording studio with a partner from 2002-2005.
In 2006 she helped to found a non-profit, W.H.Y. Community Development which provides after-school tutoring, health education and summer programs for disadvantaged kids on Chicago's south side. She serves as Vice President on the board of directors.
Mrs. King-Taylor holds a B.A. from Marquette University and an M.S. from Northwestern University.
