Richard H. Graves is a Board Certified Podiatrist who has been practicing in the Long Beach area for nearly 20 years. He graduated from the California School of Podiatric Medicine as class valedictorian in 1993, and is an expert in the medical and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle. Dr. Graves specializes in sports medicine and running injuries and serves as the sports podiatrist for the University of California, Irvine.
Dr. Graves grew up in Long Beach where he ran track and cross country at Lakewood High School and Long Beach City College. He then attended UC Irvine, where he earned NCAA All-American honors in both track and cross country. His involvement in running and sports fueled Dr. Graves’ desire to become a podiatrist.
Dr. Graves continues to enjoy running and recently qualified to compete in the Boston Marathon. He is an active volunteer for the Special Olympics and other charitable organizations. He also enjoys spending time with his 3 granddaughters.
