When they married, Julianne and her husband Seth decided to share ownership of the company he founded with a friend in 1997. However, the demanding, round-the-clock devotion that Seth gave to Sonic soon offered Julianne an inside view of the organization and kept her interested in the day to day happenings in the growing firm.

Even though her evenings and weekends were devoted to Sonic's success, Julianne spent a decade devoted to nonprofit development before officially joining the Sonic Promos team in 2006. While she still provides guidance and advice for Sonic’s nonprofit clients, she now handles all aspects of human resources, accounting and office management.

The couple have two children, now 5 and 7. When the kids were younger, part-time work at Sonic allowed Julianne to balance focus on the kids with time spent with Seth. Now, running the business is a full-time commitment. Julianne enjoys the ability to engage creatively with clients and to implement promotional marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, and is always focused on ways to improve efficiency, engage employees and improve the overall company. Under her guidance, Sonic has been recognized by multiple organizations as a "Best Place To Work" and continues to thrive.
