He is certified to conduct DHS/FEMA level threat & risk assessments related to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, explosive (CBRNE), and natural disaster events.

He has also received specialized training in the areas of interview and interrogation techniques, crime scene investigation and reconstruction, and crime scene videography.

Thomas also has management experience in the loss prevention industry, where he has been responsible for conducting theft and embezzlement investigations, workers compensation and general liability accident investigations, and identifying and correcting exposures to loss.

Thomas has been recognized for his dedication and service by the California State Senate, the US Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Investigation, and various civic organizations.
