Trea Tijmens has been recognized as one of the leading international matchmakers and has become the “Go To” dating expert. She is the chairperson of the Board of Advisors of the Matchmaking Institute, regularly contributes articles to newspapers and magazine and is invited to share her insights on radio programs and at conferences. SuccessMatch has kept its boutique approach and still meets and gets to know all of their clients personally.

Trea Tijmens launched SuccessMatch in 2005 in Switzerland, with offices in Geneva and Zurich. She is recognized as one of the premier matchmakers in Continental Europe, is globally connected and serves a thoroughly international clientele of high-caliber professionals. A former HR professional and headhunter, her passion for human relations and commitment to helping people find love inspired her to create SuccessMatch which provides personalized and confidential dating and matchmaking as well as date coaching services, and her bespoke matchmaking for highly successful and relationship oriented gentlemen: the HIM-matchmaking service.

Trea obtained a Bachelor of Art degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley in 1992 and a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 1994. She is fluent in English, French, German and Dutch, and is currently working on improving her Spanish language skills.

Trea was born in the Netherlands on 12 February 1965. She left her native country over 30 years ago and has since lived in the United States, Belgium, Spain and Germany. She came to Switzerland in 2000 and currently lives between Panama, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

A Human Resources professional who has gained her experience in diverse sectors such as fast moving consumergoods, computer products distribution, banking and Search and Recruitment, Trea's passion is human relations.

Trea has been married for over 25 years to a French man whom she met while in the US, and is mother of 3 teenagers. Her hobbies are dancing, reading, cycling, traveling, a bit of gardening and watching her kids play field hockey.
