Patricia Andrews-Keenan is the principal behind The Tallulah Group, a boutique agency with a focus on media and public relations, community outreach, executive position, internal and external communications, community affairs, corporate social responsibility and implementing social media strategies as part of an overall communications plan. She previously served in senior communciations leadership roles within the tele-communications industry, holding the positions of vice president of communications for Comcast and its predeccessor companies in the Chicago region and vice president of corporate affairs for the Nielsen Company.
Currently, Andrews-Keenan offers public and community relations, communications and social media services to a variety of clients including Quarles & Brady, LLP, Merit Medical, Chicago State University, IlliniCare, LINK Unlimited, Columbia College Chicago, C. Cretors & Company, a 125 year old manufactering company based in Chicago, and the 100 Black Men of Chicago. Her expertise also includes creating distinctive events and meetings.
In addition to her expertise in communications Andrews-Keenan is a writer and public speaker. She has been awarded both Silver and Gold Anvils for her PR programs and is the recipient of numerous community recognitions. She serves on the YMCA’s Black and Latino Achievers Steering Committee and the board of the Chicago Children’s Choir. She is a past president of the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications and former board chair for the Quad County Urban League. She also holds memberships in the Executive’s Club of Chicago.
Andrews-Keenan holds a BA in Journalism from Grambling State University and is a graduate of the UCLA Anderson School’s Executive Leadership Development Program.
