Robert loves the Alaskan outdoors and has always considered Alaska his home. Having grown up in Alaska, aviation has always been a part of his life and he spends a great deal of time seeing the beauty of Alaska from above.
Much of his inspiration comes from time spent in the Alaska wilderness. He and his wife, an Alaska Native, spend as much time as possible in their remote cabin, located across Cook Inlet from Anchorage, at the base of Mt. Susitna, where her families' roosts are.
