Emi Golding is a registered psychologist, and mental health recovery expert. She has undertaken extensive training in a variety of therapeutic modalities including CBT, ACT, Gestalt and interpersonal therapies, and uses a combination of different tools and techniques to assist people enhance their social and emotional wellbeing.

Emi has been working in the mental health sector since completing her studies, and is currently responsible for managing over 30 staff who deliveroutreach services for individuals with mental illness.

Emi is passionate about developing the skills of staff in the mental health sector and has delivered a variety of training courses to staff in human services. She has an acute understanding of the difference between knowing something intellectually and really ‘getting it’ in practice.

The concept of ‘recovery’, and is an accredited trainer of the Collaborative Recovery Model. She has been delivering recovery and leadership training to staff in the mental health and human services sectors for the past six years, and has an acute understanding of the skills and knowledge mental health workers need in order to apply recovery principles in practice.
