Dasha Ware is an award-winning music marketer. Ware is the founder of, The Rising Star Group LLC, (RSG Agency) an independent entertainment services & support agency based in Atlanta, GA. It was not long before Ware emerged as a premiere music marketing leader and a full-time entrepreneur and often now refers to herself as a “mompreneur”, women who are raising babies and businesses.

Ware has been involved with some of the most influential recording artists in the southern region today. Ware honed her craft during the southern crunk, snap, and trap mumble music era. Ware started her career in 2006; she quickly earned her credibility from referrals. Her work ethic and on the spot, ingenuity quickly gained the attention of industry executives. She became known for being passionate about growth and helping others secure their dreams in music and entertainment.

Ware also became known as someone who could zero in and anticipate the next new thing. Her business savvy allowed her to move into different industry circles. RSG secured $40 Million dollars in private capital to support independent music, tv/film service & support deals. Ware knew that it was time for a change and so she merged her company with a few other entertainment professionals to create and grow a 360-degree agency for independent artists. This newly formed venture is now servicing the industry as the RSG Agency and RSG Networks.

The RSG Agency provides enterprise-level entertainment services for independent record labels, professional recording studios, producers and artists. RSG also provides services to independent tv/film production companies and consumer brands. Core services include Worldwide Digital Distribution, Digital Asset Management, Accounting & Royalty Management, Major & Independent Playlisting, PR & Marketing, Merchandising, and Show & Tour Development.

Ware utilizes her experiences to influence her business decisions as she is contracted to consult and guide the careers of her clients. With 20 years in entertainment, Ware can offer the total package to her clients, having extensive experience in various facets of the music business from recording, artist management, publishing, 360 marketing, PR, promotions, booking, merchandising, and more.

Over the past 5 years, the industry has shifted where popular brands cross promoting more with celebrity brands, especially in hip-hop. Ware is is a big advocate of artist development and believes it is the key to long-term success. Part of that long-term development is brand growth. Ware always choosing to be in the forefront; has shifted more to assist growing independent entertainers to merge with consumer brands.

Ware joined the marketing team of popular potato chip brand, Rap Snacks. Rap Snacks features multi-award-winning rap trio The Migos and other platinum and gold selling recording artists: Lil Boosie, Romeo Miller, Fabolous, Lil Yachty, Fetty Wap, and Trina.

Ware has been and awarded by her peers. In 2014, she was named Top 100 Branding Expert to follow on Twitter by notable entrepreneur, evancarmichael.com (a Forbes “World’s Top 40 Social Marketing Talents) and Top 5 Social Media Influencer of Atlanta, by Social Media Marketing University. November 2012, Ware and her marketing agency, The Rising Star Group was nominated for “ATL’s Hottest Entertainment Award” for the Hottest Online Marketing & Promotions company. In May 2011, The Rising Star Group was reviewed as “Marketing Agency Making A Huge Impact on the Hip Hop Culture” by HipHopEnquirer.com. May 2013, she made “CMO’s On the Move” list by Direct Marketing News (DMNews.com).

Ware has built her reputation as an industry expert. In March 2013, she joined digital entertainment TV network, Q3030 Networks as Chief Marketing/Branding Officer during startup as a consultant to aid vision of brand in global success on the Roku streaming box, which featured over 10 million subscribers at the time. This position has made her a triple threat in music, film, and digital entertainment.

Ware believes in continuing education and philanthropy. She is an active member of The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), and the National Association of Record Industry Professionals (NARIP). She is also a board member of Aqua Ventures.

Ware is determined to educate emerging talent to reach their dreams and goals within the music business and dedicates her time in the community by volunteering and speaking at multiple music conferences and universities across the US. “I enjoy networking and I feel that it is wise to continue to build relationships and increase your network and knowledge within different environments and industries. I have a strong composite of skills, years of knowledge and experience in the Internet/Technology/New Media sectors,” states Ware. Ware’s most important role is mother, she resides in Atlanta with her three sons.
