Bob Harrison has established a formidable career in real estate, not by playing it safe, but by practicing his life’s philosophy of remaining alert when it comes to identifying the potential in an opportunity.

Born in Connecticut, Bob Harrison moved with his family to Southern California at the age of eleven. A few years later, at Hollywood High, he got involved in a work experience program. Bob’s first assignment was at a nationally respected title company, where he fit right in. Bob’s bosses took note of this young man with the natural abilities and offered him a full-time position with the company once he graduated; a position, unbeknownst to him at the time, that would launch him on a journey spanning a lifetime!

During sixteen years of steady advancement in the title business, two events occurred which impacted the future of his life: Bob became a resident of Ventura County, and he was convinced by a broker to get his real estate license. And even though they both meant making some dramatic changes, Bob was ready for the challenges.

With license in hand, Bob made the leap into real estate. He excelled in his new profession from the start, eventually being offered a position of manager at a real estate office in Ventura County. It was there that Bob used his wealth of experience and abilities to help earn the office the distinction of achieving the highest market share in the region.

As his career grew, so did his reputation for being a manager with a system for success. It became evident that Bob possessed the rare skill of not only being able to turn an office into a thriving business; he also possessed the ability to create an atmosphere where his agents could reach new heights of success as well. It’s no coincidence that Bob once managed nineteen of the top producing real estate agents in his market!

Brian Troop and Bob joined forces because of a common respect for one another’s accomplishments, and a shared methodology of the business. Brian had seen what Bob had done for the area’s companies, with his vast experience and commitment to growth, and felt Bob should be the one to lead the westward expansion of Troop Real Estate.

Today, Bob manages the Channel Islands and Ventura offices, as well as serving as regional manager for the western Ventura County area. He continues to share a brand of management that is infused with nearly two decades of success, and proved by the accomplishments of those that have excelled around him.

And at the core of it all, is still the same basic philosophy that started him out on his journey in business, many, many years ago:
