As a life-long traveler, Jim started his first adventures with his father, open water SCUBA diving the Florida Keys at age seven. He has visited five continents, thirty-two countries, forty-nine states and one territory. This forged his concept of people are the same the world over and it ignited a love for immersing in the local culture for a richer travel experience. He co-founded VacayMyWay in 2019 based on the concept of creating a better travel experience. VacayMyWay, dedicated to connecting hosts, guests for vacations that feel as if they are specifically designed for the traveler.

JIm graduated number one in his class from Georgia Tech ROTC and served twelve years in the US Air Force. His education and practical experience is in process, risk management and optimization. Joining Southwest Airlines, he soon rose to lead the committee for technical analysis and scheduling for pilots, leading SWA to the highest pilot utilization efficiency ever recorded at a major airline. Jim rose to be the Vice President of the Southwest Airlines Pilot Union. He managed vacation rentals in California, Florida and Texas but soon saw the need for much better customer service and a more economical price structure in the Vacation Rental industry. His motto is The strength of Vacaymyway isn’t the product, it’s the TEAM.
