Colombian-American actor, David Fernando Villada Londono, born on August 13th, 1975 in Medellin, Colombia. Oldest son of Francisco Eduardo Villada, government executive and Angela Luz Londono, ceramic handcraft artist and jeweler. The family moved throughout the country all of his childhood up until his late teens enrolling him into theater, painting, folkloric dance groups, ballet, music, martial arts, boy-scouts and anything they could to ease his craving for the stage and arts. His brother, Daniel, studied zoology. His sister, Diana, worked in the family's advertising business. Youngest brother, Ivan Dario, became a renown journalist, radio host and entertainer in Colombia. David started as a singer doing duets with his mother who made sure he was part of the school and church choirs, often performing for the family, showcasing his own numbers, eventually became a dancer and joined the Bahia Hip Hop Dance Crew for 2 years in Bogota, Colombia, here he went to "Simon Bolivar Military School", there he served as a cadet for 3 years. later his family relocated to the city of Medellin. David then transferred to the Colombian Army's 13th Brigade, Battalion of Engineers XIII Antonio Baraya. After 4 years of military service, he enrolled in law school in one of the most prestigious universities in the world, Univesidad Pontificia Bolivariana, which he abandoned after the first year once he realized the performing arts were his life and passion. In 1995 continued at Valencia Community College in Orlando, Fl. Were he attended the film production program. He also studied drama, theater and music at the University of Florida. He was part of the music band, Latin Force, in which he rapped, along with singers Luis Rendon and Richard Rodriguez (vocalists). Together they toured for two years and performed on different stages around Florida, opening for bigger artists and small venues. He was had the opportunity to first appeared on the television show "SeaQuest 2032" shot in Orlando, FL. in 1995, but the show was canceled right before. After working as an animal dietitian for a petting Zoo, flight director for a heliport, a race car pit crew man for the Daytona's race track, Orlando motorcycle racing team, timeshare consultant, truck driver for a fuel company, construction worker, buss man, server and bartender, moved to Hollywood, CA. to pursue his career in film and television. His first role was in Desperate Housewives unaired pilot and then worked with David Caruso in C.S.I. Miami as Dc. Lopez. Over the years the actor established his name in the film industry appearing as principal, guest-star, voice over and stunt roles in many featured and independent films as well as over 13 internationally acclaimed music videos working with Lady Gaga, Tiao Cruz, Keisha, Orianthi, Eminen, Moby, Little Wayne, Pixxie Lotts, Marc Anthony, Salma Hayek, Jada Pinkett Smith, L.M.F.A.O. and Theory of a Dead Man, among others. His first film, The Man from Jalisco, was submitted to many festivals which allowed him to expose his talents as a leading man. His fearless attitude and natural charisma have always been his signature trademarks. David Villada is also branching into writing, directing and producing his own films.
