Shirley Crawford is the Executive Director and CoFounder of the Women’s Business Center RVA (WBCRVA) and owner of 2nd Chance Consulting, an experienced entrepreneur, consultant, teacher and speaker addressing topics from Networking for Introverts and Introduction to Social Media to Put Up or Shut Up: Moving your Dreams to Reality and How to Start Your Nonprofit Organization in addition to a plethora of entrepreneurial and motivational subject matters.

Shirley believes that everyone should have a "side hustle" as in a stream of income in addition to their standard employee paycheck. She understands that everyone has a vision or a dream but possibly doesn't understand or have the tools to convert them to reality. Shirley assists individuals to recognize their potential and to provide them with guidance to discover their Road to Great.

Her talks are sometimes technical in nature providing education about specific tools for entrepreneurial success. Other events are geared more so to the shifting of the mindset from being reactive to proactive. She has shared this message with audiences in South Africa, Haiti, conferences, business workshops, radio shows, television programs, classrooms, blogs, newspaper articles, college campuses and other locales.

Born into an entrepreneurial family and operating as a small business consultant for over 20 years Shirley seeks opportunities on a daily basis to impact the small business community. As a consultant she brings her clients to the next level of their business. As a speaker she brings passion, transparency and a wealth of experience while providing education and inspiration in a captivating fashion. As an educator, her primary role, she brings the building blocks to enable others to rebuild their mindset, vision and their reality. Motivating others to Do Better, Live Better and Be Better!
