"We the People, ...We are Back" artwork prints. A montage of images that accurately portrays and represents the Tea Party movement, what it is, and most definitely what it is not.
Susan L Smith is a twelfth generation American whose ancestors, with nothing more than their perseverance to succeed, and, will to be free at the age of 23, fled the tyranny of England, sailed aboard the Speedwell and landed in the New World. That was in 1635 in the midst of a mini ice age and long before the United States of America came alive.

A direct descendant of Richard "Bull" Smith, farmer, land owner and patentee of Smithtown, NY her lineage includes generations whom farmed lands to feed others and whom built their towns from scratch. Blacksmiths, Carpenters, Builders, Architects, Physicians, Union Founders and Public Servants many who built from dirt and sticks, fought for our freedoms and saved others in the process.

Those ancestors are rolling in their graves now with what is happening in America today. Not to forget all of the supporting women, dedicated wives and dutiful mothers along the way. In fact Sarah Hammond, wife of Bull Smith, was such a trailblazer herself she held joint title, with her husband, to "their" property. A rare occurrence in that day and age. This spirit is alive and well in Susan.

The eldest daughter of a lifelong Aviator and a former Aquatic swimmer Susan grew up on Long Island in what she describes as a "wonderful" but modest childhood.

An ordinary American Susan is also sees herself today as a victim of the continued recession, 10%+ unemployment and out of control government. As a displaced Construction Executive and former Business Owner, and, mad as hell with our government gone wild spendacrats and desecration of our Constitution Susan has taken action to make a difference.

In spite of her financial reversals, separation from loved ones and desperate situation she bummed rides to make it to DC for the 912 March and has since reinvented herself as an artist through her commemorative painting "We the People,..We are Back" celebrating the 912 March on DC and the Tea Party movement.

Prints of this historic event are available online from her website at: http://WeThePeopleWeAreBack.blogspot.com/2011/09/we-people_09.html
