Cleodia Martinez is a Filipino-American author, creative director, and the founder of Midsummer Studio. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, her work centers on creating soothing stories that tend the inner world of children and the folks who care for them through illustrated books rooted in nature, rhythm, and emotional awareness.

Cleodia is the creator of Mount Luntian, an original illustrated storybook universe inspired by Philippine folklore and tropical landscapes. Her approach reimagines traditional archetypes through a contemporary, child-centered lens, preserving their symbolic depth while moving away from fear-based storytelling.
