Gary Miller moved from the UK to the Algarve with his wife and 2 children in 2014 for better weather, great beaches and a friendly relaxed atmosphere which now includes 2 dogs, 2 cats, some fish and a bearded dragon lizard.

He studied Chemistry at the University of Manchester gaining a 1st Class (Hons) and progressed to work in IT Sales combining an interest in the technical with a love for great customer service.

In 2005 Gary and his business partner launched their first company, MBA IT, building a great team who drove the business to be one of the UK's fastest growing companies and over £11m in annual sales before exiting to allow the move to Portugal.

After a break Gary felt that the Algarve travel market was lacking a company which provided great service and a comprehensive range of activities and attractions. So Algarve Fun was formed with a team of Algarve experts, a portfolio of over 200 activities and the company quickly became a market leader with a busy e-commerce site and shops across the Algarve.

Outside of work Gary enjoys time with his family, golf with friends and exploring Portugal.
