Founder and creator of the Film Co-Op, a hybrid of traditional studio and independent production houses, it's a place where artists join forces to produce exceptional film and immersive edutainment.

Alison has produced and directed award-winning documentaries, feature films, commercials, and music videos. F-Stops, her first feature film, won the Remi Award Houston at Worldfest and in Cannes for cinematography. Her documentary on teens and drunk driving, Every 15 Minutes, is viewed statewide by California high school students.

Dedicated to producing and directing socially and globally responsible programming and with an eye toward the future, Alison gives of her time by participating at various educational institutions; teaching or as guest lecturer, UCLA, USC, LA Film School, SAE Institute in Dubai.

In March of 2009, Alison introduced the Middle East to Women in Film & Television (WIFT) by forming an international chapter in Dubai, UAE.

Ms Richards is currently working on several cross platform, multimedia, interactive, branded entertainment experiments, (Transmedia) as well as developing several feature film properties.

She collaborates through the magic of the internet (yeah Google Docs & Skype) with partners around the globe. Alison is working with a team of academics, government officials, philanthropists and talented creatives to develop a unique educational program which will bring much need training and "reel-life" experience for youth in rural South Africa.

On June 1st, 2010 her latest feature production, Bare Knuckles, an award winning portrayal of a mother fighting for her independence and her family, was released by Image Entertainment and is already becoming a Cult Classic.
