Andy qualified from the University of Surrey with the Tonmeister degree in music and sound recording followed by three years at the University's Institute of Sound Recording, designing, installing and maintaining the institute's recording studios. He holds the Institute of Acoustics Diploma and achieved Merits in five separate subjects.
Having led acoustic design for a wide range of projects including major refurbishment works at the Bishopsgate Institute, new performing arts centres in several schools, Andy also provided computer modelling of Victoria Underground Station, and now works alongside Amadeus in acoustic design and installation projects.
Andy was one of the first accredited acoustics testers under the ANC Registration Scheme, and is an Inspector for the Robust Details sound insulation scheme, a member of the Institute of Acoustics and the Audio Engineering Society.
