In 2008, Amore Philip transformed a pink slip and unemployment into an opportunity to start her entrepreneurial journey. Before launching Apples & Oranges Public Relations, Amore attended LIM College, where she studied Fashion Merchandising while gaining experience in the fashion, entertainment, design, and build industries. Under her leadership, the agency grew from a one-woman operation to a boutique firm with over 13 employees by 2016.
Amore has secured media placements and coverage in top-tier outlets, including Forbes, CBS Mornings, Business Insider, ELLE, New York Magazine, INC, and Fast Company.
Notable projects include the U.S. launch of Statues for Equality, POSTNET Franchise, Fashinnovation, Positive Luxury, Fashion Week Brooklyn, NY Taxi & Limousine Commission Accessible Dispatch Campaign, and TEDx Water Street.
Amore is an alumnus of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program and has received several accolades, including the 2020 Stevie Award for Women in Business, the 2019 Hermes Creative Award, and a spot on the AMNY 2023 Power Players Rising list.

• In 1994, Amore survived a car accident in which her vehicle flipped over a bridge, yet she emerged without a scratch.
• In 2008, while unemployed, Amore launched her PR agency from the ground up.
