Currently living in Concord, North Carolina, Thomas K. Sheppard entered the work force at age 12, sweeping floors and learning the shoe repair business from his uncle. By age 17 he was Assistant Manager for a drive-in theater. At 19 he left the U.S. to spend two years in Ecuador, South America, as a missionary. At 23 he had met and married his wife while earning an Associates Degree in General Education. By 24 he was a U.S. Marine. Leaving the Marine Corps at age 28, he entered the world of defense contracting. After four years on the Washington Beltway roller coaster, losing and winning contracts, he moved into the more stable world of banking. After 17 years in the banking industry, he founded his own real estate investing company.

Realizing that his greatest joy comes from helping others to succeed, in 1993 he founded A+ Results to assist others in their quest for successful living.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences, a Master of Science degree in Management Human Resources, and a Masters in Project Management, all of which he earned while working full time. He has been married since 1981 to his wife Angela, and they have five children. His experiences as missionary, Marine, contractor, employee, trainer, business owner, consultant, husband and father uniquely qualify him to deliver dynamic and inspiring instruction and consultations that help individuals and companies deal effectively with the practical problems of today’s work world.
