Raymond Lahoud, an Easton, Pennsylvania native, graduated summa cum laude from Lehigh University (fourth in his class), with a Bachelor’s Degree in English (highest department honors), earning several accolades and scholarships. During his time at Lehigh, Lahoud studied at the London School of Economics (International Law & Trade) and the Umbra Institute (Italian Language & Literature).
Raymond Lahoud served as the Editor of The Lehigh Review, earned Deans List each semester, was named a President’s Scholar, was inducted into Phi Beta Delta and received, among other awards, the Williams Award, Cohen Scholarship, Treen Scholarship and Littner Scholarship.
Prior to attending Lehigh University, Raymond Lahoud served as a United States Congressional Page, under then-Congressman Ray LaHood (R-IL), who is now President Obama’s Secretary of Transportation. He also served as a legislative aide to State Senator Lisa Boscola (D-PA) and was the founder and director of Youth for America PAC, a nationwide Political Action Committee that raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for various political candidates.
When returning to the Lehigh Valley, Lahoud directed Victory Consulting Group, a Pennsylvania-based political consulting firm that employed as many as fifteen individuals at one time. Further, Raymond Lahoud assisted in the development of Macquarie (PA), a private equity firm that raised foreign capital for commercial development projects across the United States, including a tower housing one of the nation’s leading insurer’s in California. Lahoud also actively lobbied for several global corporations looking to conduct business with the United States Government. While doing this, Lahoud traveled to twenty-nine countries–meeting with high level executives and political leaders.
After Lehigh, Lahoud attended Georgetown University Law Center, where he excelled academically. Lahoud earned a position on the Georgetown Immigration Law Review-a leading international academic resource focusing solely on immigration issues. While in law school, Raymond Lahoud worked for the Honorable Joanne Seybert, Federal District Court Judge for the Eastern District of New York as well as for Sullivan & Cromwell (summer associate).
