Dr. Babu Bakhsh Mansuri (B.B.Mansuri) born at Khundara, Pilibhit (U.P.) did his M.Com from Aligarh Muslim University and D.Phil from the University of Allahabad. He qualified BET (Equivalent to NET) and has done faculty development Program. Dr. Mansuri has brilliant academic career and teaching since 1996 . At present, he is Associate Professor of Commerce in Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He has also served in Utter Pradesh and Uttrakhand as class I Gazzetted Officer in higher education and teaching faculty at L.N.M. University, Darbhanga (Bihar). His area of specialization is accounting and finance including Foreign Trade. He is associated with teaching post graduate courses and guiding doctoral thesis in the area of accounting and finance.
Dr. Mansuri is a prolific writer published 39 research papers and three books. He has also edited a book titled “Economic Reforms in India: Issues and Challenges” published from New Century Publication, New Delhi- a widely acclaimed reference for post-graduate courses in economics and commerce of several Indian Universities and indexed in the U.S. Congress Library. The other books” A Glossary of Business Economics”and " Financial Accounting " are also very popular among students.
Dr. Mansuri has also served as a Coordinator, 10+2 Commerce in the Centre for Distance Education and Warden of Three Halls of A.M.U. Aligarh. He is also holding position of Incharge, Commerce Section in Women’s College and Programme Officer, N.S.S. ,Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh unit..
Dr. Mansuri is actively associated with professional bodies like All India Commerce Association and U.P. Uttarakhand Economic Association as a life member. He is also member of board of studies, Department of Commerce A.M.U. Aligarh.
Dr. Mansuri has also attended 09 training programs , 54 National/International Conferences/Workshops and delivered a number of lectures and Radio talks.
Keeping in view of his outstanding achievements, services and contributions the F.F.I. has also honoured Dr. Mansuri with Excellence Award and (Certificate of Excellence) (Certificate of Felicitation) Gold Medal for the year 2008.
