Since 2009, Stephen has held the position of Vice President at Be4ward, assisting a number of Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Medical Devices clients with serialisation related engagements from strategy development through to implementation and operations. He is also an active member of GS1.
Prior to that, he developed GlaxoSmithKline's (GSK’s) product serialisation strategy, then set up and led their Global Serialisation Team for a number of years. The group was responsible for monitoring and contributing to legislation and standards activity, as well as running a program of pilot and implementation projects. GSK now serialises many products for several markets around the world.
Stephen has a 1st Class Honours Degree in Engineering, he is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology.
