Beacon Pointe Securities' Chief Market Strategist Padraig Flanagan was born in Dublin, before moving to Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.

Padraig studied Economic Geography at the University of Sydney, before joining Commonwealth Bank as an Equity Analyst. Padraig has numerous professional qualifications in Australia, and has worked for the bank in Hong Kong, Singapore, Auckland and New York, before returning to University of Sydney to obtain a Master's Degree in Economic Policy.

Padraig worked for a Hedge Fund in Singapore for 6 years, before joining Beacon Pointe Securities in 2004. Padraig Flanagan was initially Technology Sector Analyst before being appointed to his current position in 2007.
