 As Vice President of Sales & Product Strategy, Rick Young brings industry expertise to Bitcentral and works closely with partners to guide the product roadmap and overall strategy including Sales & Marketing initiatives. 
Rick Young has a unique mix of editorial, business, operational and technical experience at both content owners and media technology providers. He brings this broad-based industry knowledge and product expertise to Bitcentral.

Formerly of ABC Television, Pathfire and the Associated Press, Young joined Bitcentral from Atlanta, GA-based Clearleap Inc., a developer of an IP-based media content management and distribution platform used by television networks and pay TV providers. Prior to Clearleap, Young was at Pathfire, where he led that company’s News and Information, Syndication and Stations Solutions business units. While there, he managed relationships with the company’s largest broadcast customers.

While at the ABC Television Network, he directed digital content and operations initiatives at ABC NewsOne. Earlier, Young was a member of the pioneering team responsible for the Associated Press’ development of their newsroom computer system product line.

The culmination of Rick's experience makes him a valuable member of the Bitcentral team. As VP of Sales and Product Strategy, Rick oversees the Product, Sales and Marketing teams, working closely with customers and various internal teams to define and guide the product roadmap and overall product strategy for the development of future-focused products and solutions for the growing Bitcentral customer base.
