Simon Maddocks is a seasoned search marketing professional with over 7 years’ experience. His online career started at Summit Media a top 10 ranked NMA digital agency where he worked initially as a PPC account manager on clients such as Mobiles.co.uk and T-Mobile. Later moving to train from scratch and lead a team of affiliate account managers working on accounts such as Viking Direct and Play.com.

Final role with Summit was as the Head of Performance Marketing which focused around building relationships and revenue, ultimately moving the agency away from fixed affiliate management charges to a pay on performance model which was better aligned to the channel.

Frustration with the quality of affiliate publishers in the UK lead to a natural move over to join a start-up venture named Ignite where he brought professionalism to the role of an affiliate publisher and combining this with recognising the need for combing quality content with technology proved a successful mix.

Contracted to a leading Lincolnshire based IT support and marketing company Tandem Solutions Group, for 6 months to assist in forming growing their search marketing division through offering clients value for money and transparency in all aspects of website promotion.

Simon now focuses on running a small company that splits it's time between affiliate publisher activities and supporting local small businesses with cost effective online marketing services, anything from a website seo overhaul to setting up and managing affiliate programs.
