Mr Thackeray experience of building IT companies is second to none, his entrepreneurial flair in finding unique USP and creating a professional corporate identity on a global basis is just the beginning of his skills set, his Merger and Acquisition skills have resulted in one of his employers gaining over 133% in stock price within 5 months.

At the age of 28 Mr Thackeray was made the MD for SLI Consulting in the first year of operations Mr. Thackeray reported profits of just over $800,000.

SLI Consulting (UK) Ltd (an SAP consultancy) - part of a large Swiss based corporate company. Mr Thackeray experience covered all aspects of building the UK subsidiary. Part of his role in the latter months was that of SLI group strategist - board member, this included presenting business cases to other board directors for possible investment in to emerging markets. - Acquired by NEON

Latterly Mr. Thackeray was asked to move to the USA where he worked in Merger and Acquisitions, he started as second in command of the team, however, within 6 months he was promoted to Director of the team. Mr. Thackeray delivered over $200 million in M&A for NEON having a positive share price increase of over 133%.


CI5/Keane was an ERP/ECM consultancy, originally planned to grow to a global position by 2004, employing only the best of breed consultants. Mr Thackeray took the company from just himself to over 28 people in only 6 months, generating unique solutions for many blue chip clients including NATS and a nuclear power plant client - Acquired By Keane

Realtech UK Ltd. - part of a large German PLC and a major partner of SAP worldwide. Mr. Thackeray had P & L responsibility and took the company from 3 people to the final head count of 45 within 12 months.

As the founder of CIMBAX, Mr Thackeray wanted to build a International ERP consulting company, he took Cimbax to being a leading Microsoft Dynamics company, in the first 9 months of operation Mr. Thackeray employed 33 consultants and had a turnover of £1.0 million, establishing an offshore development centre in Kiev in the Ukraine. Mr. Thackeray knowing that the Microsoft DAX market was over heating exited the company in mid 2008

Mr Thackeray took the business from little capital investment to a turnover of £4.1 million with a net profit of £450,000 in year 2. Mr Thackeray made SLI Consulting a visionary consultancy to the degree that SLI was acquired in October 1999 by a large US based EIA provider called NEON.
In addition Mr Thackeray has specialist knowledge of four Enterprise Resource Applications (ERP) Business Solutions – SAP R/3, BPCS, Dynamics AX and BaaN and extensive experience in ECM, CRM and BPM.
