With over two decades of consulting and technical experience including Valuation Services, Transaction Support and Corporate Finance, Adriana was the first professional in Latin America to attain the Intangible Asset Specialty Designation under the auspices of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).

Adriana has led hundreds of projects reaching more than 20 countries, including the supervision of large, complex multidiscipline engagements regarding businesses (as a going concern or assets’ based), real property, machinery and equipment, and intangible assets.

She has worked in a wide variety of industries and for numerous purposes: mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, governance, commercial / shareholders disputes, compliance with International, Mexican, American, and Brazilian financial reporting standards, among other. Valued intangibles including: intellectual property, customer lists, trademarks and trade names, favorable contracts, non-competition and employment agreements, goodwill.

Prior to establishing BValue, Adriana held position as Global Partner in charge of Financial Valuation Services for a regional consulting firm, Country Head of Valuation Services for KPMG Mexico, and Technical Director for the Institute of Management and Valuation of National Property (formerly CABIN), an entity of the Federal Government.

Designations include Accredited Senior Member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) in Business Valuation and Intangible Assets, and registered appraiser for the National Banking and Securities Commission in the fields of Real Property and Machinery & Equipment.

Adriana has been appointed to the Appraisal Practices Board of The Appraisal Foundation that provides voluntary guidance to appraisers, users of appraisal services and regulators on valuation methods and techniques, for all specialties in the United States.

She is member of the Business Valuation Sub-Board of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Americas and also participates in the Financial Reporting Committee at the Mexican Institute of Financial Executives (IMEF) and the Mexican Chapter of the ASA.

Adriana is a frequent speaker, author and professor on Valuation, Financial Reporting, Intangible Assets, and Corporate Governance in national and international venues.
