Martha lived and traveled in Europe, Asia, and Africa for 12 years and sojourned in Austria, England, Switzerland, Japan, India, and Iran. During that time, she learned to speak German, Japanese, and French. She appreciates and have a love of other cultures, and she enjoys diversity. While living in Japan, She practiced Zen through a variety of traditional arts for 3-1/2 years. Since that time, mindfulness has been an integral part of her life.
