 Richard Rankin, AIA has over 25 years of professional experience with the planning, design and construction of retail and industrial projects in a variety of industries and applications.

Through his work with mixed-use, retail, workplace, residential, hospitality, industrial and advanced facilities clients worldwide, Richard Rankin consistently demonstrates his unique talent to quickly grasp the project needs and client’s vision. Drawing on his years of planning experience, he has to ability to quickly transform these requirements to create practical concepts, by aligning good design with the client's goals.

For more than 25 years, Mr. Rankin has successfully executed the planning, design and construction of complex projects in a variety of market sectors and applications for clients including The Wilder Companies, Capital Group Properties, 1366 Technologies and GT Advanced Technologies. His career is testament to his philosophy that the best projects are the ones that exceed the client’s expectations and that employ practical and functional design solutions that make his clients more successful.

Mr. Rankin has served as Vice President of ci design since its conception in 2009. He previously served as a partner at Cubellis Associates Inc., and as principal with Newbury Design Group and project architect at The Carlson Group.

Mr. Rankin is a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Boston Society of Architects, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
