Kasper Bergholt is a Copenhagen-based photographer and artist who has recently returned to the world of visual arts after a 15-16 year hiatus. He holds a Master of Arts degree and a rare gold medal from the University of Copenhagen.

His renewed interest in photography began after acquiring a vintage Nikon D3 for a macro-photography project, which expanded to include architecture and various objects. He often experiments with vintage cameras and lenses, including Pentax and Nikon gear, and expresses a particular interest in CCD sensor cameras.

Bergholt is working on several ongoing series:

'Objects for an Ideal Home': which focuses on still life and architectural elements.

'Flora Excursoria Hafniensis': which explores the botanical life, often miniature flowers, in Copenhagen and, lastly, 'Spectre de Degas'.

His work spans digital photography, photo-based art, and he has also been involved with oil paintings and calligraphy. He is a member of a number of photographic societies, including The Royal Photographic Society (UK), The Nordic Society of Photography, and The Society for Danish Photography.

Kasper Bergholt has actively participated in numerous exhibitions and art fairs internationally since his return to photography, including shows in New York, Helsinki, Melbourne, London, Atlanta, Budapest, Warsaw, Chongqing, Taipei, Minneapolis, and Glasgow.

He has contributed to various magazines of abstract photography and art, and his work has been featured in fundraisers for cultural institutions and hospitals.
