After tackling the wine retail world, Jessica Fialkovich sold Decanted in 2012 to relocate to Colorado and pursue a consulting and freelance career. Established in 2009, Jessica quickly grew Decanted to top local market share and national presence through innovative marketing techniques, superior product selection, and staff expertise. During her time at Decanted, she compiled an impressive list of awards including numerous certifications from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust and a spot in Florida’s Gulf Coast Top 40 under 40.

Jessica’s writing has been featured in numerous publications and blogs including the Naples Daily News, Pulse Magazine, 239 Spot Magazine, and on Decantedwines.com. She has also served as a recurring guest on Fox’s Morning Blend (Fort Myers, Florida) and hosted educational and speaking engagements for the Naples Art Association and Hodges University.

Jessica currently serves as a partner and contributor for foodwinefashion.com, a project with her sisters promoting education for young professional women about the namesake topics. She also participates in expert panels concerning win including allexperts.com. Jessica is currently a diploma level student with the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (London, UK) and holds both the Intermediate and Advanced certificates with distinction. She is also a Certified Wine Specialist and member of the Society of Wine Educators.

Originally, from southern New Jersey, Jessica began her career creating the new media department for the Philadelphia Flyers. At the Flyers, she compiled impressive experience in the online marketing field: converting a multi-million view website from a new source to revenue generator, content development for web and email newsletters, instituting a targeted sales program through marketing analytics, as well as developing future online strategy for the Flyers and their parent company.

Love and adventure led her to Aspen, Colorado where she developed a passion for food and wine while managing marketing activities for Related’s $1 billion redevelopment of Snowmass Village.

Jessica studied International Business and Public Relations at the College of New Jersey. In addition to wine and food, she is passionate about travel, skiing, hiking, and her ‘bucket list.’ During two North American road trips in 2009 and 2012, she visited 2 countries, 39 states, 6 provinces, 23 national parks, and hundreds of cities, restaurants, and key travel destinations.
