Will is a successful entrepreneur and regarded as one of the UK’s leading practitioners in the use of social media from a company and brand perspective.

Will was born and raised in Lowestoft, Suffolk and is the eldest of three boys. He spent a lot of time sailing and qualified as the UK’s youngest sailing instructor. He set his sights on working in the sailing industry. With his A Levels under his belt he spent a year sailing in New Zealand before returning to Portsmouth Polytechnic (University of Portsmouth) to study mechanical engineering.

Will gained his degree but recognised that making a career in engineering and sailing was unlikely, so, he moved to London where his first job was selling advertising space for Marketing Magazine. From there Will moved into corporate events and marketing communications, before the recession of the early 1990s brought marketing spend to a halt and he was made redundant. At this point the King of Shaves business was born after he spotted an opportunity to move into the men’s grooming market. He quickly moved from home to full-scale production. Will lives in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, has one son and is married to his second wife, advertising creative director Tiger Savage.
