 Dave Pecher has spent over 25 years managing food and beverage operations with some of the finest establishments in America and abroad. 
DNP Hospitality is lead by Dave Pecher, a 25-year veteran in food and beverage operations management.

The son of a hotel manager, Dave literally grew up in and around the hospitality industry. His background has taken him to both the public and private sector. Pecher first broke into hospitality management working with the restaurant division of General Mills. From there, he discovered the private club field, where he spent more than half of his career managing upscale private clubs, including the prestigious Capital City Club located in Atlanta, GA, which is perennially rated as one of the 5-star, “Platinum Clubs of America”. During his tenure in the private club field he earned the “Certified Club Manager” designation from the Club Manager’s Association of America (CMAA).

On the public side, Pecher spent several years working with The Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL in food and beverage management roles. Prior to that, he worked alongside James Beard award-winning chef Scott Peacock at Atlanta’s Horseradish Grill. Pecher also spent time abroad, working in the beautiful city of Prague, Czech Republic with The Zatisi Group, one of the largest hospitality companies in Central Europe.

Over the span of his management career, Dave was very fortunate to work with 2 Master Chefs, a James Beard award-winning Chef, a James Beard finalist, and 4 current Master Sommeliers. Wine is a big passion of his and because of that, Dave is involved in continuing education at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone’s Rudd Center for Professional Wine Studies.

Dave has written training manuals for multiple locations of different service styles, as well as menu and wine list deveopment. As an award-winning Sommelier, Pecher has developed wine lists that have won both The Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, as well as The CMAA International Wine Society’s Award of Distinction. He is an active member of the American Guild of Sommeliers, The Society of Wine Educators, and the Club Manager’s Association of America.
