Tony brings nearly two decades of experience in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, to his role at e-ternity. Having transitioned from a network specialist position to Business Continuity Analyst at Enbridge/Consumers Gas in 1997, Tony had the opportunity to train with some of the world’s most esteemed Business Continuity experts including Ralph Dunham (former Manager of IBM’s Business Continuity and Recovery Services organization) and Dennis Hamilton (a.k.a. “the Godfather of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery”). Tony is certified through DRI Canada and is working toward becoming a Masters Certified Member, a prestigious position held by fewer than 10 Canadians.

Tony’s extensive professional experience includes senior-level positions within organizations including Sears Canada Inc. and Merrill Lynch Canada. Also, Tony’s contributions to the field have led to the development of Business Impact Analyses and Disaster Recovery methodologies and frameworks that are now being used as guidelines throughout the Ontario Government. In addition, Tony has also helped organizations implement strategies to address various government policies regarding privacy and compliance.

At e-ternity, Tony is responsible for developing the strategies and methodologies for the company’s entire Business Continuity Management and Security Services practice on a day to day basis. His expertise in dealing with crisis situations including chemical spills, malware attacks, and fires, among other things, prove invaluable to e-ternity customers who turn to him for guidance and advice in the face of a disaster. Tony thrives under pressure, and it’s his calm and in-control demeanor, coupled with extensive knowledge and skill-set, that makes him an asset to the team.

Tony is passionate about sharing his knowledge with others, and takes any opportunity to work with young IT professionals in a leadership capacity. When he’s not working you’ll likely find him on the golf course, the basketball or tennis court, or on the ice playing hockey. He also loves astronomy and photography, and is a supporter of the arts.
