Erick Sahler Serigraphs (www.ErickSahler.com) produces limited-edition fine-art prints, nostalgic travel posters of the mid-Atlantic region and the whimsical GullFriends™ series featuring Eastern Shore landmarks. All prints and designed and handmade by Erick in his Salisbury, Md., studio and print shop.
Prior to launching Erick Sahler Serigraphs as a full-time operation in 2011, Erick was the Managing Editor of The Daily Times in Salisbury, Md. He supervised a staff of 45 reporters, copy editors, designers and photographers, and managed the content and design of the daily newspaper, the DelmarvaNow.com website, 10 weekly publications and two niche magazines. He began work at the paper in 1989 as a graphic designer and illustrator, and also served as the Associate Managing Editor of Design, Features Editor and Weekend Editor.
Before joining the newspaper in 1989, Erick was the graphic artist and printer for Chesapeake Screen Printing in Salisbury, Md., for six years.
For nearly three decades, he has produced graphics, illustrations, websites and editorial cartoons for The Daily Times, DelmarvaNow.com, Perdue Farms Inc., the Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council and hundreds of small-business clients across the Delmarva Peninsula.
He has a BA in Visual and Performing Arts from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
