A lifelong entrepreneur, Elyse Eriksson has explored a wide range of business ventures ranging from concrete to crafts. As the Managing Director of Export Connector, Ms. Eriksson brings together business experts to work with entrepreneurs to enter international markets.

During the majority of her career, Ms. Eriksson was the owner of two manufacturing companies specializing in cement-based products, Classic Cast Stone of Dallas and Slate Select, Inc. She served as the Director of Training at the International Trade Center-Small Business Development Center in Dallas, Texas. Ms. Eriksson has obtained the designation of C.G.B.P., Certified Global Business Professional. She is also a licensed commerical insurance agent specializing in export credit insurance.

Elyse has served on the board of Scandinavian American Economic Development Alliance and the Organization of Women in International Trade. In 2011, she was selected as one of the 250 finalists in the British Airways Face Of Opportunity contest and traveled to events in New York, London and Prague, courtesy of British Airways.

Ms. Eriksson attended the University of Texas, Austin, receiving a B.S. in design. She then received a Masters in Civic Affairs and an M.B.A. in International Management from the University of Dallas, Irving, Texas.
