 An accomplished writer, researcher and photographer, Kevin T. Willoughby is a leading expert in international fashion theory and branding. He has taught fashion marketing as an adjunct faculty member at El Centro College since 2005.  
Kevin T. Willoughby has taught fashion marketing as an adjunct faculty member at El Centro College since 2005. In addition to El Centro College, Kevin also teaches at Texas Christian University. His teaching career started at the University of Northampton, UK, while in graduate school at London College of Fashion, where he earned an MA degree in the History and Theory of Fashion – with Distinction. He has also taught at Texas Woman’s University, the Art Institute of Dallas and Katharine Gibbs School, New York City. Willoughby also holds a BA in International Studies from Rhodes College.

Willoughby has published two book reviews in Fashion Theory: The Journal of Dress, Body & Culture and served as a Guest Curator for a Fashion In Motion exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, for which he won research grant from the Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation to fund a research trip to Japan.

Willoughby has worked in advertising, marketing, copywriting and photography in New York City and Dallas. In Shanghai, China, he worked in a contemporary art gallery representing Mainland Chinese artists.
