Kristen Alyce, the founder and creator of Garbage Gone Glam, has been working in the fashion industry for nearly a decade. Alyce studied Fine Art and Education at a small Christian liberal arts school in West Palm Beach, Florida. In 2006, Alyce worked with John Robert Powers, an acting and modeling school where her first real insight into the fashion industry began. She grew with the company and became the Director of Marketing & Promotions. Alyce furthered her interest in marketing and production when she met Andres Aquino in 2007. Coordinating investors and new designers gave Alyce the title of Sponsor Coordinator for New York Couture Fashion Week. Her backstage, pre-show responsibilities were from New York City to Palm Beach. She began exploring photography and model management with a modeling agency under Michael Fieger as Talent Scout Director. Her passion for marketing and production really sparked when she landed a marketing position at Saks Fifth Avenue as the Corporate Gifting Coordinator. Over the years Kristen Alyce has worked with several international designers for the numerous fashion shows where she has assisted in the production of each event.

Kristen Alyce has a passion for innovative thinking, inspiring youth, doing her part in bettering the environment and saving the earth one piece of art at a time. She has spent years collecting recycled products from family and friends to provide each fashion show with a new twist on the art of recycling. Alyce’s goal is to inspire others to follow her example of turning garbage into something glamourous – giving it a new life.
