Lorie Ann Miller, Certified Senior Advisor, joined the Good Hands Placement Agency, located in Surprise, Arizona, as a senior housing locator in 2013. She is heavily involved in marketing to rehabs, hospitals, and seniors exploring innovative ways to reach out to expand the awareness and use of professional senior housing locator services.

Miller became a member of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors in November 2013.

Concurrently with her work at Good Hands Placement Agency, Miller is also volunteer respite outreach coordinator for the REST program sponsored by the Arizona Caregiver Coalition. She researched and is helping to implement a grassroots internationally known respite training program. Miller is identifying communities and organizations, especially faith-based communities, in Arizona with which to partner in setting up a statewide network of trained volunteer respite workers, as part of the Lifespan Respite Care Network.

Miller is an advocate for family caregivers on the local and state level. She has experience in caregiving children, those with special needs, and the elderly and understands the barriers family caregivers face in getting the support they need. As part of the Arizona Caregiver Coalition, she is helping to bring support, resources, education and awareness to caregivers throughout the state so that all have access and receive the help they need. Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Arizona State University.
