Marina Tito was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Italian and Spanish immigrant families. She started painting at the age of six and was awarded a gold and two silver medals, three consecutive years, at the Shankar's International Children's Competition held yearly in India.
Moving to America in 1986 and receiving a scholarship for communications in 1990 from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, Marina embarked in a 23-year-journey as a designer, illustrator, writer and creative director.
In 2008, while living in Florida and studying for her private pilot license, Marina meets Florentine pilot/designer Lorenzo Di Alessandro and five years later the couple starts Good Puppy / Books For Growing Good Kids.
