Gracie Gato is a creator, storyteller, and advocate for neurodiversity, with a background in media production and storytelling. Born and raised in Hollywood, Gracie spent years immersed in the entertainment industry before relocating to New Hampshire to provide a nurturing environment for her family. As a single mother to an incredible autistic child, Gracie’s personal experiences have shaped her passion for creating meaningful and inclusive stories that inspire and empower.
Gracie is the creator of Adam’s World, an animated children’s series that celebrates neurodiversity and encourages kids to embrace their unique abilities. The series follows Adam, a bright autistic boy who is nonverbal but has a remarkable gift—he can upload information directly into his brain by touching books. Alongside his friends Sam, a math genius, and Zoe, a time-traveling speedster, Adam embarks on adventures that highlight teamwork, friendship, and the power of being different.
Drawing on her media expertise and insights from autism specialists, Gracie has crafted Adam’s World to authentically represent neurodiverse children while sparking meaningful conversations about inclusion and diversity. She recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the pilot episode, with plans to pitch the series to major networks and streaming platforms.
Gracie’s mission is to inspire children and families with stories that celebrate individuality, resilience, and the beauty of seeing the world through different perspectives. With Adam’s World, she is creating a platform that not only entertains but also fosters understanding, empathy, and empowerment.
