Melih Elcin is a graduate of Ege University Faculty of Medicine. He has worked as a faculty member at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine between 2000-2023. He holds a Masters Degree in Educational Sciences and the Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator - Advanced (CHSE-A) credential.

Melih Elcin currently serves as Assistant Dean for IPE at Springfield College, School of Health Sciences. He is Chair of SP SIG at Society in Europe for Simulation Applied to Medicine, and an active member of ASPE, SSH and SESAM.

He is the recipient of 2019 ASPE Outstanding SP Educator Award.

Areas of interest: interprofessional education, human simulation, clinical & communication skills training, patient safety, program development, evaluation, and medical humanities.
